A: The website migration service offered by DivX Hosting is totally free and consists of transferring all your web files, databases and e–mails from your present provider to your brand–new web hosting account with us. We will also update all the settings needed for your websites to be completely functional on our super–modern cloud hosting platform.Our techs are fully capable of transferring just about any website. With years of work experience behind their backs, they’re experts in the inner workings of our web hosting platform, our Control Panel and all other famous Control Panels. For them, moving a custom–made application with multiple custom libraries is as elementary as moving a simple WordPress–based weblog.

A: While we can’t give you an exact time interval, since there are lots of variables, including the size of the web files and databases, the location of the current host’s server, the complexity of your web site and the present workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will do our best to move your site within 48 hours, and in some cases – within 24 hours (in case the content is not large).

A: Yup. We will need the name of the website that you wish us to migrate. We will also require a means to access your old hosting account so that we can get the files pertaining to your web site.

A: While we migrate your content, your hosting provider won’t be aware of the transfer at all. We will not contact them in any way.

A: We can transfer your site from any web hosting provider or any Linux–powered hosting platform on condition that we can receive access to the Control Panel and there’s FTP access available.The only sites that we cannot migrate are the ones based on closed–source software applications such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
